Determine the exact degree of each planet in the birth chart (Rashi). Identify its zodiac sign (from 1 to 12). See which 10° section it falls into: 0°00′ to 9°59′ → Use the sign itself 10°00′ to 19°59′ → Count 5 signs forward (inclusive) 20°00′ to 30°00′ → Count 9 signs forward (inclusive) The resulting sign becomes the Drekkana placement for that planet. Repeat for each planet.
